Starting October 3, 2022, the City's contractor, Owen Contractors, Inc. will be starting Phase 2 of the Center Street Corridor Streetscape Project. This will involve switching the construction zone to the west side of Center Street. The traffic flow patterns and detours will remain the same. The only change will be that the one-way northbound traffic on Center Street will now be traveling in the east lane and the west lane will be closed. All temporary mailboxes will remain where they are currently located. Construction is scheduled to be complete by Thanksgiving with final landscaping and plantings taking place in spring of 2023.
