Cedar Falls City Hall has reopened to the public effective June 15, 2020, under regular operating hours.
City Hall was closed on June 12, 2020, due to cleaning after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. This was per the City’s policy and CDC recommendations for COVID-19.
The City reminds the public if you must conduct business at City Hall, you may only visit the front desks—both upstairs and downstairs. All City Hall visitors must also wear masks and abide by social distancing; there are social distancing markers on the floor to help this process. Any citizen exhibiting symptoms of illness, including fever, shortness of breath, or cough, should not visit City Hall.
The City continues to encourage residents to conduct business online as much as possible. This includes using https://www.cf1stop.com/ to file for electronic permits. Residents can also complete services requests online at https://www.cedarfalls.com/requesttracker.aspx and look up department contact information at https://www.cedarfalls.com/directory.aspx. Police reports can be filed online at https://www.cedarfalls.com/1533/Report-a-Crime.
